The coated paper is dried and cured in a hot air tunnel. The other side of the paper is then provided with a coating with a lesser degree of repellency of sticky substances than the first side by a knife-coating process using the same coating solution as above except that in place of the said dimethylpolysiloxane there is used an OH-terminated copolymer comprising 83 mol% of dimethylsiloxane units and 17 mol% of diphenylsiloxane units. The coating is cured as above. A pressure-sensitive adhesive coating is then applied to this latter coating and comprises a solution of a copolymer of vinyl acetate and vinyl laurate, an acid wax and a polyadipate. The solvent is then evaporated and the coated paper wound up in a roll.</p> |
