PURPOSE:To perform error check without giving any burden on the central processor, by obtaining the error byte location information of readout data including the error from the file in the channel control section and judging the propriety of error analysis. CONSTITUTION:The readout data D1 from the magnetic disc unit 4 is converted into parallel data via the disc interface circuit 6, input to the ECC register 9, the presence of error in data and the byte location are detected with the error check to feed them to the data transfer control section 10. The control circuit 11 stores the channel command word among the readout request data from the central processing unit and error processing is made if there is any error in the data part requested. |
