Honey which contains constituents such as queen embryos, wax, prapolis, pollen, royal jelly and bee venom, is treated to separate the constituents which are richest in water. This fraction is then lyophilised and the prod. is then mixed with the rest of the honey. The process enables a prolonged storage by drying the fraction most subject to fermentation without adversely affecting its dietetic qualities. |
