摘要 <p>An atomising dryer having an air feed path forms the first component, and an arrangement delivering hot steam such as one or more vaporising dryers forms the second component of hot air processing plant. The heater for the air in the first component is provided with a preheater and a final heater. The preheater is fed by low temp. steam from the second component, whilst the final heater is supplied from a special source of steam, for pref. steam at high temp. Together with the high temp. steam, steam from the second component is used for the partial heating of the air in the feed path of the first component. Pref. steam at high temperature for treating the air and steam coming from the second component are mixed and are delivered to the preheater in the air feed path. Steam at high temperature for treating the air is also used to energise turbines for driving the air fan in the feed path, and exhaust steam is used in a heater in the feed path and is partly mixed with steam coming from the second component. Provides an installation in which the latent heat of the steam formed in the vaporising dryers can be utilised, e.g. when the air drawn in comes from a structure where there is already high temp. The energy costs for atomising drying can thus be reduced.</p>
