The template (1) consists of a plane flat baseplate (2), to which is fastened a bearing element (3), the bearing face (4) of which is aligned perpendicularly with the baseplate (2). To clamp the template (1) on a frame to be machined, there is fastened to the bearing element (3) a plurality of leafsprings (5) which project with their free end above the bearing face (4). These have a bulge (6). Each leafspring (5) is embedded in the bearing element (3) in a groove (8). Arranged in the angled portion of the leafspring (5) is a long hole (9), through which passes a fastening screw (10), the threaded part of which engages into the threaded bore (11) of the bearing element (3). The distance between the leafspring (5) and the plane of the baseplate (2) can be adjusted by means of the fastening screw (10). The attachment piece (13) possesses clearances (14), corresponding to the width of the grooves (8), and a respective threaded bore (15) for receiving a tension-regulating screw (16) which can be adjusted from outside in order to regulate the spring tension of the leafspring (5). In order to machine the wing frame (17) represented by dot-and-dash lines, the template (1) is pushed onto the wing frame after the leafsprings (5) have previously been adjusted via the fastening screws (10). The leafsprings (5) retain the template (1) on the wing frame (17) as a result of their spring tension. The necessary bores are transferred from the template (1) to the wing overlap by means of a drilling tool. <IMAGE>
