An auxiliary piece (20) having a general U-shaped cross section is fixed removably on a housing (1) for tape cassette. The side branches (21) of the U have on their inner face runners (23) cooperating with corresponding runners (13) provided on the large faces of the housing, even when the housing is inserted in a row, since between the housings there are spaces (16) in which the arms (24) carrying the runners (23) of the U-piece can be engaged. The middle branch (25) of the U has two runners (26) which allow a removable link either with one end of a grip (30), or with the lower face of another housing, in order to overlay housings or rows of housings. <IMAGE>
