Yarn dryer - esp for large skeins of yarn leaving dyeing works

Yarn skein drying appts. for non-centrifuged skeins coming from the dyeing works has a chain conveyor passing through the drying installation. The skeins are on tubes which are then placed on tubular supports on the chain conveyor and taken to a first plant section where a roller-wringer arrangement is raised and then lowered onto the skein to slowly effect wringing. The skein(s) are then conveyed to a second part of the installation where they are convection-dried on a carrier net to ensure uniform distribution of the convected air at low speed. At a third section, the skeins of yarn are removed by lifting the tubes from the conveyor supports.
