<p>PURPOSE:To improve the wow and flutter and to increase the reliability, by providing two sets of tape driving means and two sets of motors directly coupled with capstan and controlling the motors is interlocking with the tape end detection by the tape end detector. CONSTITUTION:The head 5 is in contact with the tape 2 of the cassette 1, the first pinch roller 6a and the first capstan 7a press and contact the tape 2, the first motor 19 turns toward the arrow A to drive the tape 2 for playing. When the tape 2 comes to the end and the end detector 14a detects it, the 1st pinch roller 6a is detached from the 1st capstan 7a, the 1st motor 19 is stopped and the 2nd motor 20 is driven toward the arrow B, and the tape 2 is run toward the arrow B with the 2nd pinch roller 6b and the 2nd capstan 7b. Since the capstan can directly be driven with two sets of exclusive motors, high wow and flutter performance can be obtained.</p> |
