<p>The drive comprises a number of similar belts running in parallel over sets of similar pulleys mounted on common shafts One of the the pulley sets, transmitting the toroue, has pulleys fixed to its shaft, while the other sets have individual pulleys (4) coupled to their respective shafts (1) via differential drives. Any jockey or tensioning pulleys turn freely in relation to each other on their individual shafts. The differential drive can comprise a rotary equaliser housing and a set of bodies rolling against both the pulleys to be coupled. The housing is coupled to the pulley shaft and the equaliser bodies to one of the pulleys.</p> |
