PURPOSE:To make it possible to write month or year information only with the operation of the winding stem, by making read rotation operatable for a fixed time when calendar display contents are corrected. CONSTITUTION:When operation A13 of the winding stem 11 is performed, read circuit 14 which reads information as a month or a year, which day indicator 8 has, into month discriminating circuit 9 becomes operatable for a fixed time. Driving circuit 3 is operated by the control of this circuit 14, and the display of hands is different from the normal display, and it is reported to the owner of the watch that circuit 14 has become operatable for a fixed time. When operation B16 of the winding stem is performed for a fixed time under this state, information as the month or the year which day indicator 8 has is read into circuit 9, and thus, initialization of the month or the year is possible. |
