<p>The present invention concerns in brief a lifting yoke for lifting of containers and the like. Such a lifting yoke 1 contains a central frame unit 2 by which the lifting yoke is suspended from a lifting arrangement by means of wires or the like. Crossbeams 5, 6 are supported by and can move to and from the frame unit 2 and these support at their outer ends arrangements 7 which contain lifting pins. Between the frame unit 2 and the crossbeams 5, 6 there are stretched manoeuvring arms 8, 9 for adjusting the distance between the cross beams 5, 6 depending on the size of the container being lifted. At least one manoeuvring arm 8, 9 is joined to the corresponding cross beam 5, 6 by a spring-loaded element 10, which allows limited movement of the crossbeam 5, 6 in the plane of the yoke in relation to the position adjusted by the manoeuvring arm 8, 9. <IMAGE></p> |
