The stamping press has an elastomer block (10) which works with a tool (3) on a table (1) to stamp a sheet (4). The block is covered, on the face in contact with the tool, with a flexible membrane (11). The two form a sealed pocket. There is an entry (12) for injecting liquid into the pocket, under pressure. A lower table is made up of one cylindrical tube and another forming a lower table base. Another cylinder supports the elastomer block. The lower table forms a piston, pressure operated.
