This disclosure pertains to a rearview image projecting apparatus utilizing a pair of rearwardly turned periscopes providing a view from the rear of the vehicle, passing over the roof portions thereof, and thence through the front windshield into a pair of image diverting assemblies so as to cause the pair of projected images to enter, at opposite ends, an image viewing apparatus. The image viewing apparatus utilizes lens means and selective light intensity filter means to combine both images supplied thereto into a single projected image on a viewing screen visible accessible to the operator of the vehicle.
