PURPOSE:To control a damper or the like readily and inexpensively by using a driving device suitable for running it, wherein wax is expanded because an electric heater is heated via a controller. CONSTITUTION:In an air conditioner, a driving device 20 has a damper selectively switch an open air intake port to an inner air intake port or vice versa. The driving device 20 causes reciprocation of a shaft 22, which is inverted via an arm 26 to swing motion of the damper 3 about a pivot 24. The shaft 37 joined to the above shaft 22 is inserted in a sleeve 31 made of flexible matter like rubber. The sleeve 31 rests in a cup-shaped member 30, with wax 32 filled between the sleeve 31 and the cup-shaped member 30. A thermistor element 33 is fixed to the bottom of the cup- shaped member 30. Electrifying the element 33 expands the wax 32 to push the shaft 22 left. |
