PURPOSE:To enhance the shielding effect, decrease the loss caused by the leaking magnetic flux of the winding, and eliminate the concentration of the electric field at edge portion by placing rectanguler iron plates on a winding supporting surface of a fastening metal member as a magnetic shielding plates, and rounding outer edges thereof. CONSTITUTION:The rectangular iron plates are placed on the winding supporting surface 4b of fastening metal member 4 in a vertical state as magnetic sheilding plates 5. One corner of the rectangular iron plates which are adjacent to the outside edges of transformer windings 2 and 3 is rounded and machined. The edges of the iron plates on the side of the iron core are contacted with the iron core. Since leaking magnetic flux phi from the inner winding 2 and the outer winding 3 passes in parallel with the most wide plane of the rectangular iron plate, eddy currents can be suppressed. Since the iron plates 5 wide and rounded, the concentration of the electric field can be prevented. Furthermore, since the leaking magnetic flux is conducted to the iron core through the shortest path of the magnetic shielding plates, the shielding effect can be enhanced. |
