Theatre auditorium with area separable as studio stage - has vertically movable segment sections, turning seats and raisable partitions

The theatre interior contains an associated audience seating area, partially convertible to a studio stage, this part being separable from the other part, so that more than one activity can be carried on at a time. The switchable seating area is divided into individual segments, each able to move vertically. Its seats are removable, and some at least can be turned through 90 deg. or more. Separation of this area is effected by means of one or more vertically travelling raisable walls. The area concerned can be in an upper corner of the seating area as a whole.
