<p>Process and device for producing a slubbing of fibers which may be drawn from a hank formed of endless filaments; the hank is pressed to be worked on subsequently. The sector of band wherein the points of the fibers project due to the cutting is introduced inside the band. Thereby the adverse effect the projecting fiber points are thus avoided. Particularly, the faults caused by the fiber points in finished products are eliminated, the loss of fibers in the machine room is reduced and, due to the reduced danger of the obstruction of hoppers conducting the fibers, the machine operation safety is increased. </p> |
