Twist grip cable brake control - has grip acting on cable cam via eccentric cam

The twist grip handlebar brake control has the brake cable looped over a cam (9) which is pivoted inside the brake housing. There is a profile cut-out inside which is positioned an eccentric cam end (19) linked to the twist grip. The whole mechanism is encapsulated and protected from grit and dirt. The end of the cable is anchored inside the pivoted cab by a nipple and slot coupling with the cable laid over one edge of the cam using a groove. The cam has limited pivot action inside the hollow housing and the twist grip has a rotating seal against the fixed part of the housing.
