<p>The in line switch comprises a switch unit, cable grip, and double shell which fastens over both. A switch unit (20) is held by a cable grip plate (25) in one half (13) of the case (11). The cable grip plate (25) has serrated ends so that it grips the cable ends (15) at the entry and exit to the switch when screwed (30) down onto the bottom half (11) of the switch shell casing. The bottom half (11) of the case also has sprung cable grip (32) serrations. The top (12) of the double shell has an aperture (35) through which the switch kbob (21) protrudes. The top (12) fastens down (34) to the bottom (11) by screwing onto the knob (21) shaft or by clipping to the grip plate (25) and by overlapping the grip plate (25).</p> |
