PURPOSE:To prepare an epoxy resin composition having excellent solubility and an increased pot life and giving a cured product having excellent flexibility, by compounding an epoxy resin with a specific bisbiguanide as curing agent. CONSTITUTION:An epoxy resin is compounded with a bisguanide expressed by the formula [X is O, S, SO2, CH2, CO, COO or C(CH3)2] as a curing agent, wherein the preferable amount of the bisguanide is 0.7-1.5 equivalent on the basis of 1 equivalent of the epoxy resin. For example, the curing agent is prepared by reacting a diamine, e.g. 4,4'-di(p-aminophenoxy)diphenylsulfone, etc., with dicyandiamide. |
