PURPOSE:To improve the braking characteristics at latter half of tape positioning and to decrease the positioning time, by adding the weighting due to nonlinearity to the position error signal given to the motor driving the tape winding frame. CONSTITUTION:The nonlinearity amplifier circuit 13 is provided at the front state of the phase compensation circuit 8 and the inverting circuit 14 is provided at the front stage of the integrator 9. With this constitution, since the phase difference signal from the DA converter 7 is weighted with the circuit 13 and fed as the control signal for the motor 1, the braking characteritics of control system can be improved. That is, the phase difference signal is changed into artificial position deviation signal by weighting and it is fed to the motor 1 as the control signal, the motor 1 is operated based on this artificial position deviation signal. As a result, the braking characteristics at latter half the tape positioning can be improved and the positioning time can be decreased. |
