PURPOSE:To always supply predetermined amount of ink in a heat sensitive transfer recorder regardless of the variation in the feeding speed of a recording paper by sucking-in thermally molten ink by means of a capillary phenomenon and providing an ink sucking-in means adhered to a transfer master. CONSTITUTION:There are provided in a heat sensitive transfer recorder for selectively transferring ink 18 once coated on a transfer master 14 thermally onto a recording paper 17, a tank 19 for containing the ink 18 thermally molten, and a plurality of planar heaters 21a, 21b, etc. immersed at one respective ends in the tank 19, and disposed in parallel adjacent to each other for sucking-in the ink 18 thermally molten in the tank 19 by means of a capillary phenomenon. The ink sucking-in means thus sucks-in the ink at the portion coated with less amount of ink on the transfer master 14 by means of the capillary phenomenon to adhere the sucked-in ink thereon and melts to suck-in the ink at the portion coated with more amount of the ink thereon so as to always retain the thickness of the ink on the transfer master 14 constant. |
