Electrochromic composition, having colour appearing property according to absorption wave length of light, was prepd. by composing of solvent, reductive electrochromic compd. and organic amine which was substituted with aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic group. The solubility of reductive electrochromic compd. was more than 10-2mole/100g solvent at reductive state and more than 10-1 mole/100g solvent at oxidation state.
