PURPOSE:To increase the service life in bending of the flexible sleeve in which reinforcing tire fabric cords are embedded by allowing the warp which forms the cord described above to be inclined at a specific angle for the axial direction of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A flexible sleeve 2 is made of a elastic materials such as rubber and has two layers of tire fabric cords 4 and 5 embedded in the wound state in the opposite direction each other inside. The tire fabric cord 4 (or 5) constitutes the mutual weaving of the warp 7 closely arranged and the woof 8 coarsely arranged. In this case, the angle theta of the warp 7 for the axial direction of the sleeve 2 is selected within the range 10.08 deg.-24.62 deg.. Such sleeves are manufactured by winding a rubber sheet 3 onto a roll 9 and winding the tire fabric cords 4 and 5 in which warp 7 is aslant by theta, in the opposite direction each other, and after winding rubber sheet 6, through molding. |
