PURPOSE:To accurately dispose a number of LSIs in an electronic part conveying mechanism by intermittently moving a tape carrying the LSIs on a base, separating the respective LSIs by a cutting punch and feeding them on a wiring substrate provided on the base similarly by a vacuum suction unit. CONSTITUTION:A long tape 4 carrying a number of LSI elements 3 is placed on a base 1, is intermittently moved, a cutting punch 6 elevationally moving by an air cylinder 5 is brought into contact withon the tape 4 in synchronism with the movement of the elements 3 to cut the elements 3, and the elements 3 are thereafter attracted by a vacuum suction unit 7 passing through the punch 6. A positioning posts 8 and 9 are bridged over both sides of the punch 6 toward the moving direction of the tape 4, and are inserted at the ends into post retainers 10 and 11 respectively. Thereafter, they are moved by an air cylinder 14 to transfer the posts 8 and 9 into retainers 13 provided at the same pitch l and the previous retainers 10 to fall the elements 3 on a wiring substrate support 12 disposed in synchronism with the base 1 thereon between the retainers 13 and 10. |
