Convertible bed settee - has frame with two pivots, slide pieces, mattress and bed movable from inside recess

The convertible bed-settee consists of two parts (4-5; 14-17), the one acting as a seat and the other as a back-rest. The back-rest is hinged on a horizontal axle (13). The frame (1) of the bed-settee has two coaxial pivots (13) on which are hinged the two arms (14) of a framework on the front of which is fixed a panel (16) with movable cushions. A mattress (17) is fixed to the back of the framework. Underneath the slide-pieces (2) on the frame is an empty space (21) containing a movable bed (22) and open in the front.
