The support frame is for electronic, electrical, or communication cables. The frame clamps and supports the cables, e.g. on the entry to equipment, and is primarily for military equipment. At the rear of a rack of telephone equipment (2) two uprights (8,10) have pivoted cross-members (12) to support the cables (4). Each cross-member (12) has a lower part (14) fixed between the two uprights (8,10) and a pivot (18) which supports the upper jaw (16) of the cross-member (12). With the cables (4) between the two parts (14,16) of the cross-member it is closed and locked at the other end (26,28,29). The inside edges (20,22) of the jaw units are equipped with expanded rubber to grip and protect the cables.
