PURPOSE:To obtain the clear radiation spectrum as well as facilitate an easy energy calibration, by putting selectively the plural number of checking radiation sources close to the radiation detector within the radiation shielding substance via the wire. CONSTITUTION:Checking radiation source selecting disk 11 is turned, and the fixed radiation source 7 is selected among those which are mounted on disk 11. Source 7 is the attached detachably to the tip of wire 9, and then take-up unit 13 is rolled out to make sauce 7 attached to the tip of wire 9 reach the bottom part of radiation detector 4 provided to barrel 5 in radiation shielding container 1 by wire 9 intruding into guide tube 10. Thus wire 9 is stopped by limit switch 12. In this way, the clear spectrum can be obtained by source 7 put close to detector 4, at the same time facilitating an easy calibration for the radiation energy through selection of the radiation source.
