The present invention relates to an arrangement for imparting vibrating movements with different frequencies and/or amplitudes extending over a relatively large variation range to a setting-up bench (3) e.g. for the reception of sand moulding boxes in an oscillating and vibrating machine, the bench (3) being raisable and lowerable relative to a fixed stand with a stationary roller table (2) arranged in it, and the vibrating movements being produced by a number of vibrators (36) attached to the bench (3). The vertical movements of the bench (3) relative to the fixed stand (1) are under the control of spring elements fitted between the bench (3) and the fixed stand and/or the foundations respectively. Between the bench (3) and the foundations the spring elements may be formed by air bellows, and between the setting-up bench (3) and the stand (1) said spring elements may be damping elements arranged to strike against fixed stops in the stand. The vibrators (36) may include rotary speed control providing different frequencies, and by regulation of the supply pressure to the air bellows, the amplitude of the vibrations can be adjusted. <IMAGE> |
