PURPOSE:To reduce the area occupied by a whole article conveyor, by pivotally coupling the pins of a regular-triangle-shaped link to rollers for a crank arm, a carriage and a slider, and causing the rollers to roll on a slider rail. CONSTITUTION:When the rotation of a motor 4 is decelerated by a speed reducer 5 and then transmitted to a rotary shaft 7 supported in a bearing box 6, a crank arm 8 coupled to the rotary shaft 7 is rotated so that an auxiliary link 14 with a pin 12a pivotally coupled at the moving end of the crank arm 8 is moved. At that time, since the moving direction of the pin 12c of a main link 13 constituting a regular-triangle-shaped link 12 together with the auxiliary link 14 is restricted by a slider rail 3, the pin 12b of the main link 13 is moved at a prescribed angle, straight on a moving rail 2. According to this constitution, the dimension of the body of an article conveyor, which is perpendicular to the length of the moving rail 2, is reduced to about a half of that of a conventional article conveyor. |
