PURPOSE:To improve response by dipping an ion electrode in a liquid to be measured, by irradiating the ion selection electrode with ultrasonic waves and then by measuring ion concentration of the measured liquid. CONSTITUTION:A liquid to be measured is led from measured-liquid intake 1 to measurement cell 2 through liquid pump 9. Measurement cell 2 is installed in thermostatic water tank 4 and into the measurement cell 2, ion selection elelctrode 7 and comparison electrode 8 connected to ion meter 6 are inserted. Ultrasonic generator 3 irradiates measurement cell 2 with ultrasonic waves for a certain time an indication value that ion meter 6 indicates stably is considered to be the measured value of ion concentration by ion selection electrode 7. |
