摘要

PURPOSE:To form a latex of a polymer coupler having an excellent coloring property by incorporating the polymer coupler having a specific coupler residue as a repeating unit to the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is comprised the polymer coupler having the coupler residue shown by formula I as the repeating unit. The representative example of the monomeric coupler having the repeating unit (the coupler unit) shown by formula I is comprised the monomeric coupler shown by formula I-1. The ratio of the repeating unit shown by formula I contg. in the copolymer coupler is preferably to be 20-85wt% from the color reproducibility, the coloring property and the stability points of view. The latex of the polymer coupler is added to the silver halide emulsion layer or its adjacent layer.
