Method of and apparatus for fabricating glass wool

Raw glass material is melted and spun into glass filaments which are then drawn and distributed to separate the adjacent filaments. The glass filaments thus distributed are fed through a pair of feed rollers and a support to be advantageously supported via three lateral angular edges formed thereon. Then, the glass filaments are attenuated by the hot blast ejected from a burner into glass wool.
