PURPOSE:To mix and react a liquid layer by a simple structure at a small power cost by generating interfacial wave by self-excited vibration in a tank to mix mutually contacted liquid layers or promote the reaction between said liquid layers. CONSTITUTION:If plural liquids L1-L4 with different densities are received in a storage tank R, these liquids L1-L4 are separated due to the density difference thereof into plural layers. In order to generate interfacial wave BW by self-excitation at an interface of mutually contacted liquid layers L2, L3, a conduit J is provided and a liquid or a gas SL is injected. Then, an interfacial wave with an optional mode is generated corresponding to the position of the generation of the injected stream and the mixing or the reaction of contacted two liquid layers L2, L3 is promoted and, in this time, required energy is low before and after the growth of the self-excited vibration. |
