PURPOSE:To generate dense magnetic fields by winding wires so that the direction of the thickness of a conductor is aligned with the direction of the magnetic fields. CONSTITUTION:Flat and square superconductive wires 3 are formed by embedding superconductors 5 in an ordinary conductive metal-base material 4; convering the outside by an insulating material 6; and making the ratio of the width to the thickness of the cross-sectional area of the conductor 1 or more. The wires are wound so that the direction of the thickness of the conductor 3 is aligned with the direction AB of the magnetic fields, thereby the dense magnetic fields can be obtained. |
