<p>PURPOSE:To smooth the surface of a guide and avoid tape damage by filling the hollows area of the bearing made of sintering alloys in a tape guide with anaerobic resin. CONSTITUTION:Anaerobic resin, for example, PMS-10 made by Nippon Lock Tight is treated in the hollows 12 made of sintering alloys by a vaccum resin impregnating apparatus. By impregnating the hollows 12 made of sintering alloys with the above-mentioned resin, most of the hollows are shut. This improves the surface finishing state in the finishing work. Since there is no hollow, foreign substances such as refuse are prevented from entering or adhering to, thereby preventing magnetic tape from being damaged.</p> |
