PURPOSE:To increase the high-density recording performance, by forming the magnetic substance film which has an ample eddy current effect to the magnetic flux change in the vertical direction to the action gap fitting surface along with the low electric resistivity of the specific film thickness and a high magnetic flux density onto the above-mentioned gap fitting surface of the high electric resistor core of the magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:For the magnetic head which is used to the high coercive force magnetic tape for VTR or the like, high magnetic flux density magnetic substance 3 having a low electric resistivity is formed by the sputtering method or the like of the sendust or the like onto the action gap fitting surface of magnetic ferrite cores 1a and 1b having a high electric resistivity and forming the main magnetic path. Then the magnetic head is assembled with intervention of spacer 2 of the nonmagnetic substance such as the SiO2 film or the like. The thickness of film 3 is set to double the skin depth or less in order to prevent the lowering of the reproduction characteristics. At the same time, the recording performance is enhanced for the head with the concentration of the magnetic flux at the cap part and due to the eddy current effect. |
