PURPOSE:To make an expand base body light in weight, reduce the lead content, prevent slipping-off of active substance from the base body, and thereby prolong the lifetime by attaching by heat an acid resistant synthetic resin wire to the base body from its two sides, and by furnishing synthetic resin bones between internal bones. CONSTITUTION:A lead plate 4 is carved into an expand base body 5, and a tab 6 is formed by cutting. In the upper and lower parts of this expand base body 5 a wire consisting of acid resistant synthetic resin 7 is put between a couple of hot press rollers 9 so as to be in the middle of measures 8, followed by pressing and affixed between internal bones 10, to provide a base board 13 equipped with synthetic resin bones 11. The base body 13 is filled with paste by conventional process. Accordingly the active substance of electrode a fabricated plate is in close contact with the bones 11, so that the bond with base board 13 is strong to ensure that slipping-off is prevented and the lifetime is prolonged. |
