PURPOSE:To easily attain coordination of insulation by reducing the discharge starting voltage while making the resistor contact side, of high electric field with respect to the break part side during throw-in operation, and moderating the electric field on the resistor contact side. CONSTITUTION:During throw-in operation, the leftward movement of a shaft 35 is performed by an arm plate 15 and a shaft locking plate 38, while the rightward movement by a bored locking plate 39 pulled out of the plates 38, 15. The locking plate 38 is pushed leftward by a push rod 40 at the final step of breakage, and the stroke is made leftward under high electric conditions where the front of the electrode 36 protrudes from the left end of a shield 19. The throw-in of resistor is surely conducted preceding to a main contact. During breakage operation, under a state that the front of electrode 36 of movable side resistor contact is moved in the middle side direction of the shield, the electric fields of respective parts are moderated so as to aim at coordinate of insulation so that the discharge starting voltage on the resistor contact side may be over interelectrode insulation restoring characteristics of the main breakage part. |
