PURPOSE:To minimize the damage of an accident by using a state flag set into an index sequence file to automatically decide whether this file is broken by an unexpected accident or not. CONSTITUTION:A user program 11 is interrupted in case some unexpected accident occurs while the program 11 is carried out so that an index sequence file 10 reads the code inputted through a keyboard 2. A state flag 13 set at a control block 7 is used after the recovery of a computer system to automatically check (execution of check program) whether the file 10 is broken by the unexpected accident or not. Then it is diagnosed whether the file is normal or not. If not, the file 10 is recovered and the interrupted program 11 is carried out again. |
