PURPOSE:To decrease the rate of inclusion of harmonic waves, and to increase the capacity greatly by employing a plurality of unit inverters which generate at least 9 AC components having a specified sequential phase difference with reference to a fundamental wave. CONSTITUTION:The phase difference of 12 deg. is sequentially given to 15 single-phase unit inverters I1-I15. The secondary sides of transformer T1-T15, which are connected to the unit inverters I1-I15, are Y-connected. To the phases U, V, and W of the secondary sides, 9 AC-voltage components having the sequential phase difference of 12 deg. among the AC output voltage of the unit inverters are vectorially synthesized, thereby the phase voltage is formed. |
