Indoor wall heat insulating panel - has decorative finish on covering layer on corrugated board insulation core

For use in heated and/or air-conditioned interiors, preventing heat loss and saving heating energy, the insulating panel can be subsequently fitted. It comprises an insulating core (3) made of corrugated cardboard, and one or more external firm covering layers (2), made of layers of paper, board or similar. The outside can be wallpapered or painted, and/or has a decorative surface, such as imitation planting (1), wallpaper or colouring. All the layers are firmly cemented together. There may be an intervening insulating core of hard foam or bonded fibres below the covering layer. If the panel is not made of non-combustible material, it pref. has flame-resistant impregnation. The side may be tongued and grooved, or separated. This is inexpensive, but effective, and can be quickly applied to indoor walls, without skilled labour or special preparation, and without creating dirt in rooms already in use.
