<p>The hydromotor drive mechanism produces a discontinuous reciprocating or rotating motion where, at the point of zero velocity, the acceleration equals zero. It comprises an input drive (1) connected to a rotary-to-linear motion converter (16) via a start-stop coupling assembly (7), and signalling cams (19,20) and cam followers (21,22), which stop the drive (1) when the assembly (7) reaches its stop position. The assembly (7) may comprise an eccentric disc (9) on the input shaft (6), which disc rotates within a hollow cylinder (8) swivelable suspended by a pin (11) sliding in a slot (12) in a plane through the shaft (6) axis at right angles, and an internal gear (13) in the cylinder meshing with a pinion (14) on an output shaft (15).</p> |
