PURPOSE:To enable to extend the system simply, by connection by taking the line exchanger providing the highway exchange function as a unit. CONSTITUTION:The line exchangers LE1-LE4 providing the highway exchanging function are respectively connected with highways L12-L14, L23, L24, and L34. Further, each line exchanger provides the highway memories M11-M14, M21- M24. Further, when multiplex information is written in the memory M11 of the exchanger LE1, it is distributed and written in the highway memories of other exchangers LE2-LE4. In case of readout, it is selected with the selector SEL1, 2 according to the selected information from the exchange control memories 1, 2 and the information to the line, accommodated in the exchanger of line of itself is picked up and delivered. In the system like this, in case of extension, it can be simply done by adding the highway memory only. |
