PURPOSE:To obtain a silicone resin molded product having permanent hydrophilicity, by exposing a silicone resin molded product to low temperature plasma and then treating the plasma-exposed molded product with an aqueous solution of a surfactant or with an inert solvent. CONSTITUTION:A silicone resin molded product is exposed to low temperature plasma of an inorganic gas under a pressure of 0.001-10 torr, and subsequently treated with an aqueous solution of a surfactant or with a solvent inert to the molded product. Examples of the inorganic gas which can be used include helium, argon, nitrogen, oxygen, air and sulfur dioxide. Examples of the inert solvent include water, methyl alcohol and dioxane. Examples of the surfactant include cationic surfactants, anionic surfactants, nonionic surfactants, carboxylic acid derivatives and imidazoline derivatives. |
