<p>A slurry tank having a series of pipes mounted therein, each pipe having an outlet in the lower portion of the tank through which air under pressure is fed to agitate and aerate the slurry within the tank. A control mechanism is provided for selectively controlling the supply of air under pressure to each one of the pipes in turn.</p>
