PURPOSE:To provide tough protection to an image having excellent water resistance and light resistance by subjecting the surface of a photographic sensitive material outputted with the image to coating. CONSTITUTION:The photographic sensitive material 4 which is developed and is stabilized by passing a stabilizing unit 7 is dried by passing a drying unit 8 and is laminated with a surface protective sheet 10. This surface protective sheet 10 is formed by coating a resin such as ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer or polyester on a resin film of polyethylene terephthalate, polycarbonate, etc., having high transparency. The image side of the photographic sensitive material 4 and the resin-coated side of the surface protective sheet 10 are superposed on each other and are brought into pressurized contact with each other by heat rollers 9, by which the sheet is welded to the image face. The surface of the photographic sensitive material 4 outputted with the image is thereby provided with the tough protection. |
