PURPOSE:To improve the releasability of an image receiving material and a color sheet after transfer recording by forming an image receiving layer from a composition based on a thermoplastic resin and compounded with a specific release agent. CONSTITUTION:The image receiving layer formed to the surface of the support of an image receiving material for sublimation thermal transfer recording is formed from a composition based on a thermoplastic resin having a high affinity for a dye such as acetyl cellulose and compounded with at least one kind of a release agent selected from a group consisting of a fluorine type compound, waxes, higher fatty acid, a metal salt of higher fatty acid, higher fatty acid ester, higher fatty acid amide and higher alcohol. By the use of this image receiving material, the color sheet and the image receiving sheet are not fused at the time of recording and can be simply released after recording and a sharp recorded article improved in gradation properties and resolving power can be obtained. |
