This tool holder (1) enables a cutting body (13) to be clamped exceptionally advantageously via a bell-crank lever (3). Therefore such a tool holder is extremely suitable for deep recesses and the base (4) can be constructed so as to project to a considerable extent without this affecting the vibration tendency of the elements participating in the clamping. In addition, very good fastening of the cutting body (13) is effected by an appropriate first sloping surface (5) on the base (4) and a second sloping surface (6), guided therein, of the bell-crank lever (3). <IMAGE>
