PURPOSE:To improve bending life of a flexible sleeve by a method wherein two- layer reinforcing tire fabric cords are wound counter-wise each other and so burined in an elastic material, and the cords are lapped in a given range. CONSTITUTION:A flexible sleeve 2 comprises laminating a rubber inner layer 3, reinforcing tire fabric cords 4, 5 obtainable through rubber topping and a rubber outer layer 6 from inside in that order, and both the cords 4, 5 are wound counter each other and spirally for prevention of torsion to arise at pressurizing. In this case, joints, i, j of both the cords 4, 5 have no gap, which are wound without lapping in constitution, and even if a lap is unavoidable, the lap width is controlled at + or -2mm. or below. A bend life at the time of using the sleeve 1 inversely can now be improved thereby. |
